In the historic center of Modigliana, on the occasion of the event “Sangiovese in celebration“, which will take place from April 27-28, 2024, you will be able to participate in various activities to discover Sangiovese and the local wineries that produce it. There will be moments of musical entertainment, tastings and opportunities to learn about the history of this prestigious red wine from Romagna.
The program includes that Saturday 27th April, the dinner will start at 7 pm at the Pro Loco headquarters, and then continue at the refreshment points in the historic center of “old” Modigliana. At 8:30 pm the tavern in Piazza Don Minzoni will open with musical entertainment.
The Sunday 28th April Wines will be available for tasting from local and neighboring producers, as well as typical menus at restaurants, the Pro Loco stand and local gastronomic products. Lunch will be served at the covered market from 12:30.
On Sunday morning there will also be a wine competition, Amateur category, which will award the best wine with the “Botaz d'Or”.
