An exhibition dedicated to the artist Vito Montanari, pride of the Medici Fortress. Art critic Rosanna Ricci illustrates the 30 works on display.

Also included are the artworks, which allow one to appreciate the paintings physically with almost no sense of concreteness.

The exhibition, curated by Giuliana Grilli and her husband Ido Errani, a long-time friend and colleague of Vito, also features plants and landscapes, which she defines as “used with care in the construction of the images”.

Over the years the Terrasolano theater artist has used different forms of expression, from painting to sculpture, never conflicting, but always with the aim of emphasizing emotional situations.
“His research was not superficial at all, but showed a path of remarkable talent. These paintings are the mirror of an artist who has thoroughly understood the profession of the painter and at the same time has identified it with a dreamlike and wonderful sensitivity.”
Francesco Bili, Mayor of Castrocaro Terme and Terra del Sole, spoke at the ribbon cutting. “It is important for me, on behalf of our community, to express our sincere gratitude to Maestro Montanari for the signs he left us in the highest phase of his personal and artistic journey. “I think so,” explained the mayor. “We would like to thank all those who made this wonderful exhibition possible, which aims to pay homage to the poetics of the images and the infinite creativity of the artists.”
