The Dragoni Theatre of Meldola it will be the stage for a solidarity concert December 4, 2023 at 8:30 PM, promoted by the organization “Amadori – Tison for Africa”. This initiative is part of the mission of the Istituto Oncologico Romagnolo (IOR), aimed at supporting the commitment of Prof. Dino Amadori and Vittorio Tison for the well-being of Tanzania and sub-Saharan populations.
The concert, realized in collaboration with the Bugando Cancer Centre in Mwanza, Tanzania, will be a charity event dedicated to raising funds to address the huge health disparities that exist between different regions of the world. The Vittorio Tison Association, now part of “Amadori – Tison for Africa,” has already contributed to the creation of the Bugando Cancer Centre, an oncology center of excellence that collaborates closely with the IRST IRCCS in Meldola both at a clinical level and in the training of staff.

The exceptional godmother of this noble initiative will be the actress Maria Grazia Cucinotta. All proceeds will go towards the purchase of a fundamental machine. This instrument will be used to enable increasingly precise diagnoses and targeted treatments for the African populations that refer to the Bugando Cancer Centre. The generosity of the participants will directly contribute to improving the conditions of care and ensuring more effective and advanced access to oncological care in these areas.
