“Sister Act” the musical arrives in Forlì: the musical comedy that has conquered the national theatre CheBanca! and the Brancaccio theatre in Rome will be on stage at the theatre Diego Fabbri from 10th to 11th December. Produced by Stage Entertainment and Italiana Assicurazioni, the musical is based on the famous 1992 film that saw Whoopi Goldberg in the unforgettable role of Deloris, “a nutcase in a nun’s habit”.
The original music is by Alan Menken, winner of 8 Academy Awards, and range from soul to funk to the disco hits of the 70s. Sister Act The Musical obtained 5 nominations for the Tony Awards in 2011, including one for "best musical". The Italian direction is by Chiara Noschese, with choreography by Nadia Scherani and musical direction by Andrea Calandrini.
