The Terra del Sole Museum of Man and the Environment presents itself to the public in a new guise updated in its installations and contents, and can be visited by the public in prestigious rooms of the Palace of the Grand Ducal Commissioners, the exhibition consists of well 25 exhibition halls.

The exhibition was born in 1972 thanks to the will of the Pro Loco Terra del Sole Association which wanted preserve the memory of the tradition of the Romagna peasant and artisan reality, which was gradually getting lost and becoming increasingly alien to the new generations.

The exhibition has always undergone successive renovations and expansions that have enriched its heritage and expanded its functions; for this reason it has never been a simple container of objects, tools and equipment.

Proof of the cultural value was the increasing frequency with which collectors themselves turned to the museum to ensure visibility for their pieces, as well as public recognition of the work carried out by the institutions.
