A load of Lego bricks has arrived in Forlimpopoli. A good 150 kg of colored bricks made available directly by the Danish company to transform the Artusian city into “Giocopopoli”, as part of a playful and educational project born from the collaboration between the Heart4Children Association and the Lego Group itself to promote play as a learning opportunity, of developing creativity, of building the present and future of children and adolescents.

The appointment with “Giocopopoli” – which will also see the collaboration of the Festival del Buon Vivere, Puliproject and Gruppo Vivendolavia – is from 22nd to 24th September.

During the first two days, the City Council Hall will host various training sessions aimed at teachers from Primary Schools and Nursery Schools, Nursery School Operators, but also parents and educators. There will be courses dedicated to play and art, the development of logical intelligence, how to cultivate relationships and experience emotions. And all participants will be given educational kits with materials made available by the Lego Group.

Furthermore, on September 23, works created with the famous bricks by Fabio Bertini, aka Fabiox, will be exhibited in Via Costa.

Finally, on Saturday 24 September, two events for children and teenagers in via Costa. Starting at 3:30 pm, “Now let’s play!” will be held, a Lego animal construction workshop aimed at children aged 2 to 5. 

At 4 pm, instead, for children aged 6 to 12, the brick mosaic workshop held by Fabio Bertini will start to learn how to design and build mosaics with bricks. The “Build your Borbotto” competition will be linked to this initiative: starting from the reading of a story written specifically, participants will be invited to create – again with Lego – a character. 

At the end of the workshop, the children's works will be exhibited in via Costa until Sunday. During the afternoon there will also be a snack offered by the traders of Vivendolavia.
