From 20 September to 11 October 2024, it will be held “Dark Fortress”, a series of three guided night tours of the Medieval Fortress of Castrocaro and the Baptistery of San Giovanni alle Murate, exceptionally open for the event. The tours, curated by Chiara Macherozzi, Tourist Guide of the Emilia-Romagna Region and the ProLoco of Castrocaro Terme, will take place Friday 27 September, 4 and 11 October.
During the experience, participants will explore the ancient bowels of the fortress and listen to historical tales, legends and mysteries related to the Montone Valley, until they discover the secrets of the tower. The tour will end with a visit to the Baptistery of San Giovanni and access to the Enoteca della Fortezza.

– Duration: approximately 2 and a half hours

– Guided tour: €15 (adults), €10 (high school students), €8 (middle school students)
– Entrance fee: €8 (19+ years), €7 (65+ years), €5 (11-18 years)
