The area offers an endless selection of products, from the well-known Sangiovese, the base for wines famous worldwide, such as Brunello di Montalcino, or the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano. Brisighella oil is another important product of the area. It is circular economy, DOP product, well known for its organoleptic properties.
There are many wine cellars to visit in the area, where you can try out the various types of Sangiovese. Albana, Trebbiano and Cagnina are other permanent addition to the Romagnola wine tradition.
The area is also famous for its culture of fresh pasta dishes, such as tagliatelle al ragù, but it also offers cappelletti, strozzapreti, passatelli, pasta lorda, monfettini and lasagna. These types of pasta can be used with several sauces, including fish sauces made with fish from the Adriatic Sea.
