'30 years Senna': Imola celebrates Ayrton Senna and Roland Ratzenberger

1 May 2024 - Senna 30 Years: Commemoration of the 30th anniversary of Ayrton Senna's death at Imola

The Municipality of Imolatogether with the Instituto Ayrton Senna, at Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Emilia-Romagna Regionorganised a series of events entitled 'Senna 30 years' to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the death of Ayrton Senna and Roland Ratzenberger during the Formula 1 Grand Prix at the Enzo and Dino Ferrari Autodrome in Imola. The programme, which will run from 21 March to 2 June, includes exhibitions, sports events, shows and more, with a special focus on 1 May.

The exhibition 'MAGIC. Ayrton Senna - Imola 1994-2024. Photographs by Angelo Orsi and Mirco Lazzari' at the Museo di San Domenico, which opened on 21 March, is one of the highlights, with 94 never-before-seen shots that tell the story of Ayrton Senna's life, as well as the driver.
