National Day of Historic Dwellings: Villa La Collina in Tredozio reopens to the public free of charge

Event Description
After a 2023 marked by natural disasters, Villa La Collina in Tredozio reopens to the public free of charge on the occasion of the National Day of Italian Historic Residences. The villa, residence of the Vespignani counts since 1576, offers guided tours of the interior and garden. During the visits, the legend of the ghost of a brigand who allegedly tried to rob the Vespignani family will be told.

Importance of the Event
Beatrice Fontaine, president of the Emilia-Romagna Section of the Associazione Dimore Storiche Italiane, emphasises the cultural, economic and social importance of historic residences, highlighting how these structures can stimulate the local economy and experiential tourism. The day is also an opportunity to support the community of Tredozio in its recovery process after the recent seismic events.

Organisation and Reservations
The event, in its 14th edition, is organised in cooperation with various associations and has the patronage of ENIT, UNESCO and the Ministry of Culture. To participate, reservations are required via email to mt@vespignani.net or on the associazionedimorestoricheitaliane.it website.
