Borghi e Rocche di Romagna 2024

After the success of previous editions, the initiatives of "Borghi e Rocche di Romagna" (Villages and Fortresses of Romagna)linked to the project of the same name to promote tourism in the area. This is a special opportunity to discover the charm of the village and its attractions by participating in engaging events. 12 to 16 JuneVarious events will take place: concerts with the Drinkin' Jazz Festival, walks, tastings with 'Vini e sapori in strada... nel Borgo', cinema with the 'Animare' festival, talks, photo workshops and exhibitions.

Programme of the event

Wednesday 12 June
Opening the programme of "Borghi e Rocche 2024" will be the talk "Le domande che ti cambiano la vita" on 'slow tourism' with Gianluca Gotto, in collaboration with Slò Fest. The event will be held at 9 p.m. in the Giardini della Rocca.

Gianluca Gotto is an Italian writer living in Indonesia. Through his blog 'Eat Live Travel', he has been inspiring thousands of people to experience personal growth as a conscious journey for ten years. His books are category best sellers and he has over 500,000 followers on social media, mainly between the ages of 25 and 45. His latest book, 'The Buddha's 8 Steps to Serenity', weaves his personal quest with Buddhist philosophy.

The event is part of the third edition of Slò Fest, which will be held at various locations from 10 to 15 June. Tickets are available at www.inzir.it/slofest/. A food court will be open during the evening from 6.30 pm.

Thursday 13 June
At 9 p.m., in the Giardini della Rocca, "Animare 14th Cartoon Film Festival" returns, an open-air cinema dedicated to the best international short animated films for children, in collaboration with SediciCorto and the Bertinoro Parents Committee. Free admission.

Friday 14 June
At 7 p.m., in the inner courtyard of the Rocca, the Drinkin' Jazz Festival will begin with a performance by Julian Taylor. At 9.45 pm, in the Gardens of the Rocca, Tosca will perform with her sextet in the first concert of the new tour, "La Bella Estate".

Tickets for both events are available at www.diyticket.it. From 6 p.m. there will be a gastronomic area in the Revellino Garden, organised by the Pro Loco Fratta Terme.

Saturday 15 June
At 3 p.m., Piazza della Libertà will host the 'Anomalie' photography workshop curated by Francesco Truono. Truono is a photographer and lecturer who has documented events such as the Jazzit Fest and the Torino Jazz Festival. Event subject to booking: francescotruono@tiscali.it.

15:00 to 19:00, the Bertinoro Fortress will host the Interfaith Museum, with new opening hours for the summer season. Admission €8.00, concessions €5.00. At 5.30 p.m., at the Monumento al Vignaiuolo, Passejazz will begin with the Retromarching Band: a walk through Bertinoro's urban wine cellars, concluding in Piazza della Libertà at 7.15 p.m.

At 8 p.m., the exhibition 'The World in a Thousand Colours', which can be visited until 23 June, will be inaugurated at the Palazzo Comunale.

WINES & FLAVOURS IN THE STREET
The main event of the day will be 'Vini e sapori in strada... nel Borgo' (Wines and Flavours in the Street... in the Village), which will begin at 7 p.m. in Piazza della Libertà with stalls selling wines and typical products. Admission: €15.00, including 4 tickets and tasting glass deposit. The evening will culminate at 10.50 pm with a performance by the Chiara Paoli Quartet (free event).

Sunday 16 June
The day will begin with "Musica In Cammino", a walk to discover the botanical world of Leonardo Da Vinci, starting from the Monument to the Vignaiuolo at 10:00. To participate: 340 3949462. Also at 10 a.m. will start "Musica In Bicicletta", a bike ride with the Anomalo Team. 

At 10 a.m., the second appointment with the 'Anomalie' photography workshop will also be held. At 11.15 a.m., at the Sanctuary of Casticciano, as part of the Drinkin' Jazz Festival, there will be "L'urlo dell'Africanità" with Lisa Manara & Aldo Betto, followed by a snack offered by the Pro Loco Fratta Terme.

Finally, at 9.15 p.m. in the Giardini della Rocca, there will be a concert by Baba Sissoko & Mediterranean Blues.
