The 58th Truffle Fair and Festival will be held in Dovadola (FC) on 20 and 27 October 2024.
This town, located 18 km from Forlì, dedicates the third and fourth Sunday of October to the white truffle, which grows spontaneously in the surrounding hills.
The Pro Loco of Dovadola organizes the event to promote typical local products, such as truffles, mushrooms, honey, cheeses, wine and cured meats, and to promote the beauty of the area.
During the event, the town will be animated by stalls selling food, clothing, accessories and household items. There will be farmers and truffle traders, who will offer the precious tuber. The white truffle will be the protagonist in the dishes served at the food stands in Piazza Berlinguer, such as tagliatelle, polenta, crostini, fried eggs, veal scaloppine and local wines. This year, as a novelty, there will also be white lasagna with truffle.
The event also includes a children's play area and restaurant tents equipped to ensure comfort even in bad weather.
